Men coming together to learn how we can lift up our families, congregations and communities. We rise up so we can lift them higher.
This summer during the month of June we are launching a bold strategy to reach men in the burroughs of San Cristobal, Dominican Republic, on the Blackfeet Indian Reseration in Browning, Montana, and right here in St. Joseph. These diverse groups face similar struggles in reaching and empowering the next generation. Through the Great Dads seminar, a training tool that has touched thousands of men and their families across the US and around the world, we will present strategies to help men make a lasting impact on generations to come.
You can support The UPrising in two ways.
First, though your financial support to help with the estimated $6,000 expense of taking the seminar to the Dominican Republic and Blackfeet Reservation in Browning, MT. Our goal is to cover all travel and seminar costs so that these men can attend at no cost to them.
Second, by attending the seminar here in St. Joseph. You can register for yourself or as a group from your church. The local event is Saturday, June 17th. Your $30 registration fee includes all seminar material plus lunch. Additionally, you can scholarship another man to attend who may not be able to afford the registration fee but wants to make a differen in his family.
I believe what happens this summer during the month of June is going to send shockwaves through our communities from the streets of San Cristobal and Browning and right here at home. God is turning the hearts of fathers to their children and the hearts of children to their fathers – and future generations will never be the same.
